Responsibilities

- The Unit Controls Technical Lead will be responsible for leading the functional product development to create new or enhanced HVAC controls products/features.
- This role will be responsible for:
- Ensures that technical and regulatory objectives are met through our new product/technology development process.
- Designs and evaluates new and/or existing engineering products by cohesively working with Equipment Mechanical Engineers.
- Generates functional specifications for software engineers to ensure the design intent is implemented.
- Confers with management, production, and marketing staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.
- Serve as the controls technical engineering core team member on cross functional projects.
