Job summary

Job Title: Technology Consultant – Android Development Location: Atlanta, Georgia (Hybrid – 3 days a week in office). Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications for enterprise and customer-facing solutions.

Qualifications

  • We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications for enterprise and customer-facing solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience in Android application development using Kotlin and Java.
  • 4+ years of experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack Components.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and JSON-based services.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing MVVM architecture and modern Android application design patterns.
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose.
  • Knowledge of Firebase services (Crashlytics, Analytics, Cloud Messaging).
  • Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience developing secure enterprise mobile applications.
  • Understanding of mobile DevSecOps practices and automated testing.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable code following Android development best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
  • Integrate Android applications with RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
  • Optimize application performance, responsiveness, scalability, and security.
  • Implement modern Android architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
  • Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
  • Write unit tests and collaborate with QA teams to ensure application quality.
  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
