Responsibilities: As a Senior Systems Administrator with Sab*** you will be designing, deploying, and sustaining modernized Software Development Environments (SDE) within the current Cyber framework. This is a full time, in person role located at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Patuxent River, Maryland.

Qualifications
- anti-virus protection, and implementing system security.
- Maintain backup plans and rotation cycles.
- Producing documentation that details and describes the systems, procedures, events, and any associated processes.
- Building new infrastructure servers.
- Maintaining, tuning, and patching systems for optimum performance and security.
- Migrating or upgrading systems, where applicable.
- Participating in weekly routine maintenance tasks.
- Responding to system failures promptly to bring applications back online.
- Conducting various quarterly and annual Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and scans on systems in labs
- 3-7 years of practical experience executing tasks such as:
- Configuring hardware (e.g., servers and switches)
- Upgrading and repairing computer systems (primarily Linux based operating systems)
Responsibilities
- As a Senior Systems Administrator with Sab*** you will be designing, deploying, and sustaining modernized Software Development Environments (SDE) within the current Cyber framework.
- This is a full time, in person role located at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Patuxent River, Maryland.
- The position involves system administration and cyber security compliance tasking for the management of computer systems and networks, including:
- Operating system maintenance
- Cyber security updates and scans
- Software license management
- System upgrades (could be hardware or software)
- Specific
- may include, but are not limited to:
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems in classified and controlled unclassified environments
- Troubleshoot systems primarily in a Linux environment and secondarily in a Windows environment.
- Install, configure, and manage the Linux operating systems and related tool sets supporting the software engineers in various PMA-264 labs.
