Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the API Proxy front-end for Goo***'s One Platform, ensuring highly performant translation between Stubby, gRPC, and HTTP protocols at massive scale.
• Develop robust control plane capabilities using C++ and distributed systems, integrating critical features like authentication, authorization, rate limiting, logging, and monitoring.
• Implement resilient architectures handling hundreds of millions of Queries Per Second (QPS), incorporating load shedding and error sanitization to protect Goo*** and Cloud APIs.
• Modernize Cloud Policy Enforcement via the
• Enterprise Security Framework (ESF) PDP framework, and strengthen Model Armor support for OneMCP and the Agent Cloud Ecosystem.
• Leverage Envoy Proxy expertise to improve platform support for service extensions like ExtProc and partner with engineering teams to converge Cloud ESF and ESF.
