Qualifications

  • Candidate’s technical expertise and operational excellence will raise the bar and influence the team’s decisions and drive secure and robust solutions which have great customer experience.
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • PREFERRED
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering

Responsibilities

  • This is a challenging and highly visible position responsible for managing multiple projects and driving results across our teams.
  • TPM, you will be responsible for identifying the stakeholders, working with leadership to develop a vision, roadmaps and execution strategies for business programs that are supported by service teams.
  • You will need to work with professionals in many different domains including finance, engineering, engineering management, and support.
  • You’ll drive software and networking programs to meet the ever-growing customer demand for our services.
  • You’ll manage competing cross-organizational projects on a global scale.
  • You’ll interact directly with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Engineering Managers, Technical Program Managers, and other senior leaders across multiple AWS organizations.
  • You will run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.
  • You will proactively identify blockers and resolve them before they impact projects.
  • You’ll work with engineers to develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems.
  • You will identify or create simple, scalable solutions for big problems.
  • You’ll drive simplification efforts in engineering and project/program management, and architectures to unblock innovation.
  • You’ll partner with multiple teams across various locations to ensure priorities are agreed and outcomes are delivered.
