Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain predictive models to forecast member demand, care utilization, and provider network capacity.
- Develop comprehensive analytical frameworks and translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Collaborate with teammates to improve and scale forecasting processes alongside company growth.
- Develop expertise in the data we collect and partner with data engineers to construct robust data pipelines and ingest relevant data sources.
- Complete time-sensitive ad-hoc data requests for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- DESIRED SKILL SETS/EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of data analysis in an industry setting with a preference for individuals who have experience in business forecasting, time series data, and have partnered with business / operations teams in prior roles.
- Demonstrated understanding of statistical applications and methods (experimentation, probabilities, regression).
- Experience applying hypothesis testing in an industry or research setting.
- Graduate-level Statistics coursework with MS in a quantitative field is preferred (statistics, econometrics, biostatistics, quantitative social sciences).
- Experience with Python, including cleaning and analyzing data as well as using Python to parse JSON structured data, call APIs, create user-defined functions, and automate.
- Experience translating stakeholder requests into data research questions and developing comprehensive analyses using irregular data from disparate sources.
