Qualifications
- The post holder will hold SCPHN (School Nursing) master’s level qualification with
- NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.
- Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:
- Location based in Easterhouse Social Work Office, Glasgow
- Permanent Contract
- Full-time position (36 hours per week)
- Shift pattern for this post are Monday - Friday 8:30-4:30 (RWW finish to be discussed).
- and/or experience required to do the job:
- The post holder will possess:-
- First level registration
- Specialist Community Public Health Nursing –School Nurse or Public Health Nurse Degree on 3rd part of the Nursing and Midwifery Council register
- Evidence of ongoing post registration personal/ continuous professional development (CPD)
Responsibilities
- for a caseload of children and young people as an integral member of the team to deliver on the agreed pathways for School Nursing as per transforming nursing roles strategy.
- and students including post registration SCPHN students Experience and knowledge of emotional health and wellbeing tier 1 and 2 interventions and a knowledge and skill base in child protection essential
- The post holder is responsible and accountable for the management of the caseload to ensure the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.
- To promote teamwork within a multi-professional environment, demonstrating analysis and decision making
