• BS degree in a Computer Science, Computer Systems Information Management, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics
• 3+ years of software experience developing in Java and using Maven
• Experience with developing test scenarios for use in automated testing frameworks and
• Proficient with Red Hat with knowledge of Git version control software
• Familiarity with Atlassian suite including Jira and Confluence.
• BitBucket and Bamboo experience is a plus
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher or be eligible to obtain one and maintain a clearance
• Must be a US Citizen
• Additional experience in the following areas is a plus:
• PostgresSQL

• The Maritime Surveillance domain requires Software Test Automation Engineers to familiarize themselves with a wide variety of mission systems, software programming languages and environments.

• Join our Team in support of some of the Navy’s most technologically sophisticated aircraft platforms including the P-8A Poseidon.
• This position is located at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Southern, Maryland, Lexington Park, MD.
• The selected candidate will work on based on a daily basis and will be responsible for but not limited to:
• Preparation, conduction, and automation of API tests
• Improve and maintain testing environments for automation.
• Create documentation and report bugs
• Communicate and cooperate with software engineers regarding design approaches and modifications
