Job summary

Job Title: Software Project Manager Location: HYBRID Clearance: U. Citizenship required. Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one (sponsorship available).

Qualifications

  • Citizenship required.
  • reviews, design reviews, readiness assessments, and delivery of technical milestones.
  • People Leadership Directly manage a team of software engineers and technical contributors.

  • Innovation & Delivery Drive Capability Development for the new vertical product, enabling rapid integration and plug-and-play functionality in mounted platforms.
  • Required
  • Experience: Minimum 5–8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and technical project leadership, with at least 3–5 years managing people and projects in a federal/defense contracting environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on background in software development including expert proficiency in C++ and Linux.
  • Proven experience applying technical coding/engineering methodologies in complex systems.
  • CMFF / Modular Systems: Familiarity with or ability to quickly ramp up on CMOSS Mounted Form Factor (CMFF), open architecture standards, and C5ISR/EW capabilities is highly desired.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (required) or Master’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

  • You will blend deep software engineering expertise with strong project management and people leadership
  • Technical Leadership & Software Engineering Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, development, integration, and testing of software components for the new CMFF-aligned capability.
  • Apply modern software engineering methodologies (Agile/DevSecOps preferred) while ensuring compliance with modular open systems standards.
