- Our Software Engineer (Journeyman) will provide software support for the sustainment and modernization of the US Space Force Satellite Control Network (SCN).
- The SCN provides highly reliable telemetry, tracking, command, communication and control (TT&C3) for more than 170 Department of Defense (DoD), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), civil and allied satellites.
- The SCN consists various satellite tracking stations across the globe and operational support nodes at Schriever Space Force Base (SFB) and Vandenberg SFB.
- Our Software Engineer will perform software sustainment engineering on the various mission and non-mission systems using Agile Software Development.
- In this role, you will:
- Perform software studies to find replacements for existing mission software
- Perform trade studies and proof of concept development and testing
- Develop new software release processes
- Review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support application systems
