Due to organisational growth, we are recruiting a Software Engineer to join the laser and calibration products division (LCPD) at our HQ in Wotton-under-Edge.

Qualifications
- up to £42,000 depending on experience
- You may be a recent graduate or an engineer with a few years’ experience wishing to develop your career.
- and implement defined solutions using established approaches and guidance from senior engineers, project and product managers
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Maths, Electronics Engineering, or similar discipline (or demonstrable equivalent experience)
- Working knowledge of C# and .
- NET and Object-oriented software design - in particular MVVM and design patterns
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment and
- maintenance) and version control systems (e.g.
- Ability to follow established development processes and guidelines, communicate effectively with colleagues across different job functions and produce clear, concise technical documentation
- Experience or interest in
- Android and/or iOS development
- Test-driven or behavioural-driven development
Responsibilities
- You'll be part of our laser and calibration software team, working with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices and collaborative software engineering
- Develop and maintain features for desktop (WPF) and mobile (MAUI) applications.
- Contribute to both customer-facing applications and internal engineering
