Qualifications

  • up to £42,000 depending on experience
  • You may be a recent graduate or an engineer with a few years’ experience wishing to develop your career.
  • and implement defined solutions using established approaches and guidance from senior engineers, project and product managers
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Maths, Electronics Engineering, or similar discipline (or demonstrable equivalent experience)
  • Working knowledge of C# and .
  • NET and Object-oriented software design - in particular MVVM and design patterns
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment and
  • maintenance) and version control systems (e.g.
  • Ability to follow established development processes and guidelines, communicate effectively with colleagues across different job functions and produce clear, concise technical documentation
  • Experience or interest in
  • Android and/or iOS development
  • Test-driven or behavioural-driven development

Responsibilities

  • You'll be part of our laser and calibration software team, working with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices and collaborative software engineering
  • Develop and maintain features for desktop (WPF) and mobile (MAUI) applications.
  • Contribute to both customer-facing applications and internal engineering
