Qualifications
- and partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and Design.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities throughout the entire software development life cycle.
- Create and maintain testing documentation, support newer team members as they onboard, and contribute to PDQ's Open Code Policy by fixing defects across the codebase.
- WE’RE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE:
- MUST HAVE:
- 3+ years of experience with relevant programming languages; strong preference for languages in our stack (Elixir, Rust, JavaScript, TypeScript, PowerShell), but open to other languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- 2+ years of experience with web testing
Responsibilities
- Ownership: You take responsibility for outcomes and follow through on commitments.
- As an Software Engineer in Test at PDQ, you will work closely with an agile cross-functional delivery team to develop and maintain test automation for PDQ's products.
- You'll independently build and maintain automated tests and test frameworks for defined components and features, collaborating directly with Software Engineers on defects and test coverage.
