Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in engineering, with a preference for candidates with a mix of start-up and large-company experience.
  • eComm domain expertise is a bonus
  • Hands-on experience delivering software within high-growth environments at scale
  • Experienced in designing and building large-scale, cloud-based systems across various projects
  • Experience operating distributed services at scale, including familiarity with observability

Responsibilities

  • The Storefront Backend Platform team is responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting the core infrastructure and architecture that Storefront teams use to develop and deploy backend services.
  • Flex your strength and knowledge on Go, Java, DevOps, and service development environments.
  • Contribute to developing platforms services that are built to industry best practices, including observability, architectural patterns, and reliability
  • Write code to implement high-quality, scalable, future-proof services that will have effective system boundaries
  • Participate in team planning and delivery meetings in a way that actively supports the goals and success of the team
  • Identify risks and gaps in your assigned work and surface them to team leads
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and peers to define project
