Qualifications

- Contribute to scope and tradeoff decisions alongside your Pod Lead; own what's in scope, escalate what isn't, and communicate progress proactively
- Optimize application performance through caching, efficient algorithms, and database indexing
- Write thorough unit and integration tests as a standard part of how you build
- Participate in code reviews, give feedback that helps others grow, and start building the muscle of mentoring more junior engineers
- Share production support responsibility on a rotating basis, including on-call and bug triage
- Stay current with emerging AI
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Comfort working across frontend and backend.
- You likely have a stronger side by now, and that's fine.
- What matters is that you're not blocked by an unfamiliar layer.
