- A genuine passion for software craft – this might show up as personal projects, open source contributions, hackathons, or just a track record of building things because you wanted to see if you could
- Solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and how systems actually work under the hood – you don't need to be an expert yet, but you should be curious and eager to go deeper
- Comfort with both frontend and backend work, or a strong foundation in one with real interest in learning the other
- Some hands-on experience with modern AI developer
