JOB DESCRIPTION: SOFTWARE ENGINEER Location - Harrogate (Hybrid 2 days) WHO WE ARE Certinia (formerly FinancialForce) delivers a Services-as-a-Business platform that powers and connects all aspects of services operations, from services estimation and delivery to customer success management and financial planning and accounting.

Responsibilities

• As a Software Engineer you will work in a software development team building and maintaining Certinia applications using the full technology stack.
• You will mainly interact within your own team which consists of 4-5 software engineers, an engineering team lead, a product manager, a user experience designer, and a content creator.
• In your team you will design software solutions, following Kanban methodologies.
• You will write code to create new features, extend existing features, fix customer reported issues and fix internally detected issues.
• You will manually test solutions.
• You will be involved in code reviews within your team, where through identifying issues and asking questions, the team will strive for high quality code.
• You will be required to present working solutions in product area reviews.
• You will support and coach less experienced team members.
