Position Overview: NOW HIRING: Mid-Level Embedded Software Engineer (AFC Devices) Vienna, VA (On-Site) | Full-Time STr*** is seeking a Mid-Level Embedded Software Engineer to develop and support software for Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) devices used by major transit agencies.
Qualifications
- 4–5 years of software development experience
- Experience with C, C#, and Python
- Proficiency with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code
- Familiarity with Windows OS and STM32 environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and device issues
- Support AFC device installations remotely and on-site
- Analyze system logs and data for diagnostics
- Perform testing and validation to ensure reliability
- Create and update technical documentation
