Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional Android development experience shipping consumer- facing apps
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
• Proficiency in Kotlin, including Coroutines and Flow; working knowledge of the modern Android stack (Jetpack Compose, Hilt/Dagger, Room, WorkManager, Navigation)
• Experience writing unit and UI tests (JUnit, Compose UI tests, Espresso)
• Experience with Spec Driven Development leveraging LLM coding agents and autonomous build and review loops
• Learn and adopt Android best practices and platform updates that improve the athlete experience
• and being prepared for questions that are set up to learn more about you, and your background.

Responsibilities

• WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
• As a Software Engineer 2 on Android, you'll be a growing IC on a feature squad, partnering daily with senior Android engineers, iOS peers, backend engineers, Product, Design, and QA.
• You'll take on well-scoped features and pieces of larger initiatives, write clean and testable Kotlin, and lean into the mentorship the team offers.
• WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
• You'll build features in NRC or NTC on Android alongside more senior engineers who will help you take on progressively more complex work.
• You'll work a "4/1 hybrid" schedule - Mondays - Thursdays are in the office and it's optional if you'd like to work Fridays from the NIK*** campus office or your home office.
