Qualifications

  • If you are interested in learning about operating a service at massive scale and working alongside world class engineers, then this role is for you.
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
  • 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications,
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • This position involves on-call
  • typically for one week every two months.
  • We don’t like getting paged in the middle of the night or on the weekend, so we work to ensure that our systems are fault tolerant.
  • When we do get paged, we work together to resolve the root cause so that we don’t get paged for the same issue twice.
