Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: The Research Software Engineer (RSE) will support the design, development and implementation of innovative digital health solutions for individuals with multiple sclerosis and other neurological diseases.

Responsibilities

• Lead development including front end user interface and back-end data infrastructure
• Collaborate with research team to operationalize cognitive and behavioral assessments into digital formats
• Ensure applications are user friendly, accessible, and appropriate for individuals with cognitive and physical impairments.
• Develop secure systems for data capture, storage and integration with research databases and/or electronic health records
• Implement scalable and reproducible data pipelines for longitudinal patient reported and clinical data
• Apply best practices in software engineering version control, testing and documentation
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, IRB, and data security standards

• Contribute to grant submissions, progress reports, and dissemination of findings
