Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Head of Software Development, you'll design, build and maintain high-quality software across our e-commerce platforms and internal systems.
- You'll work closely with frontend teams, QA and fellow developers to deliver reliable, scalable software that supports a high-volume online business.
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality software applications
- Build new functionality across customer-facing websites and internal business systems
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practice
- Work closely with frontend teams, QA and business stakeholders, including the senior leadership team, to deliver new features
- Optimise application performance, scalability and reliability
- Support software deployments and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
- Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and development processes
