Responsibilities
- Develop end to end data ingestion and transformation workflows using AWS Code Pipeline Snowpipe and Python to ensure reliable near real time data availability for analytics and reporting stakeholders.
- Define standards for data modeling Snowflake SQL development and performance optimization to achieve consistent query response times and predictable platform behavior across diverse analytical workloads.
- Implement robust data quality validation steps using Python and Snowflake features to detect log and remediate anomalies before they impact downstream dashboards and data products.
- Coordinate with product teams data engineers and analysts to translate functional needs into detailed technical designs that leverage AWS and Snowflake services efficiently and sustainably.
- Optimize storage layouts in Amazon S3 and Snowflake by organizing data tuning clustering strategies and aligning retention policies to manage cost while preserving analytical flexibility.
- Configure and maintain secure data access patterns by applying fine grained roles policies and encryption capabilities across AWS and Snowflake platforms to safeguard sensitive information.
- Automate build test and deployment workflows using AWS Code Pipeline to increase release frequency reduce manual errors and ensure consistent delivery of data pipeline enhancements.
- Integrate Snowflake Cortex capabilities where applicable to deliver advanced analytics and intelligent features that improve decision making and operational efficiency for business users.
