Senior Software Engineer

Job summary

About this role: Wel*** is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Infrastructure Automation and DevSecOps group, on the Infrastructure Engineering and Architecture (IEA) team. This role is an individual contributor, developing applications and services to power the future of software-defined infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 4+ years of Software Development experience with architecting, designing and developing frontend and backend applications using modern software programming languages (e.g.
• Java, C#, JavaScript)
• 3+ years of experience in developing stateful software which utilizes either traditional relational databases or alternatively non-relational databases
• 3+ years of experience implementing and managing software delivery pipelines using modern CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Harness, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience working in an agile environment
• Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
• Knowledge and understanding of application and web security
• Knowledge and understanding of technology performance: analysis, automated testing, and tuning for applications
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
