Qualifications

- As a Senior Level Software Engineer, you will be supporting the Special Programs Division (AFLCMC/WAG) at Tinker AFB, OK.
- AFLCMC/WAG develops, tests, and rapidly fields classified USAF aeronautical capabilities.
- Executing a significant budget, the AFLCMC/WAG conducts studies to identify new capabilities; transitions laboratory
- into system
- which is used to design, develop, test and evaluate software for computer systems, subsystems and equipment
- Conduct assessments of DoD contractor software deliveries for aircraft / test equipment
- Analyze software performance deficiencies and make recommendations for corrective actions
- Audit DoD contractors for software configuration and control measures and verify appropriate quality accreditation
- Using software engineering experience, evaluate Contractor proposed design changes and solutions, perform systems analyses and technological/trade-off study assessments
- Review system design software architecture and interoperability
- Evaluate system test plans for software and participate in the conduct of system, subsystem, and component testing; review and analyze test data; make recommendations
