Senior Software Engineer (Shared Services team)

Job summary

As a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer on our Shared Services team, you’ll build and maintain the platform features and services that power multiple Mat*** Group brands — including Mat***, BLK, and Chispa (https://mtch.com/). Instead of building for a single app, you’ll create reusable, foundational capabilities — shared photos, messaging, registration/login, search — used across our portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience building backend services in C#/.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Postgres, or similar), data modeling, and query/performance optimization; familiarity with caching (Redis) is a plus
• estimate the scope of work before starting, and solve problems autonomously and creatively
• Strong communication in both technical and non-technical discussions, and the ability to partner effectively with Product, Design, QA, and platform/mobile engineers
• A sense of ownership and pride in your craft — you validate your own work rather than relying solely on QA — and a drive to continually improve both your
