SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Job summary

SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Senior Software Engineer will serve as a technical leader within the EHR engineering team, leading the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical software for patients, clinical staff, and partner organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or STEM program; advanced degree a plus.
• Deep experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices architectures, including enterprise security and identity patterns using OAuth, SAML, or OpenID Connect.
• Hands-on experience with healthcare interoperability standards including FHIR and HL7; SMART on FHIR experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams or serving as a technical lead on complex, cross-functional projects.
• In-depth knowledge of HIPAA, privacy, and data security
• in a healthcare context; experience at an FQHC or community health organization is a strong plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication
