Responsibilities

• The Senior Software Engineer II role is primarily responsible for the support of the existing software applications and enhanced software components deployed in the Cot*** product suite.
• Lead the development and improvement of high-quality software modules for the Cot*** product suite.
• Analyze and resolve complex software related issues including identification of root causes originating from internal or external customers.
• Champion comprehensive documentation of the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production roll out.
• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the primary discipline and a strong undertanding of related disciplines.
• Design and implement solutions that significantly improve performance / availability.
• Proactively communicate technical and operational issues to both engineering and business leadership in a timely manner, providing clear recommendations.
• Ensure that all technology standards are adhered to while developing systems, while also evaluating and recommending new standards for improved practices.
