About the team Sym***'s AI Enablement team is a fast-growing team of builders inside our Data Analytics organization. Our goal is to accelerate AI adoption across the company in two ways: by building shared platforms, tooling, and patterns that let other teams effectively integrate AI into their workflows, and by shipping AI-powered applications for the most important use cases.

Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll lead the delivery of high-quality solutions on one of these teams.
  • You'll design the core capabilities and APIs that support one or more of our products, and the lightweight interfaces (e.g.
  • You'll set patterns the rest of the team builds on, influence architecture, and mentor the engineers around you.
  • Lead delivery of secure, high-quality, performant code, and build reusable solutions for others to use.
  • Drive design: define patterns, run design reviews, and shape our architecture.
  • Improve how we test, automate, and deliver code.
  • Strengthen security, performance, and reliability, and lead root-cause analysis on production issues.
  • Mentor other engineers on the team.

  • An experienced engineer with a track record of leading delivery and shaping design within a team.
  • Built and operated production services and APIs.
  • Hands-on with cloud infrastructure on AWS (preferred) or Google Cloud, especially containerized workloads.
