Senior Software Engineer

Job summary

BUSINESS UNIT: Cubic Defense COMPANY DETAILS: Performs complex software engineering tasks. Acts as a technical consultant and as a liaison with other departments, divisions and organizations. Participates in research, design, development and test engineering activities.

Qualifications

• Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
• Tests software and documents results.
• Prepares development software, codes software and designs specific enhancements.
• Designs, develops and maintains software applications and system enhancements.
• Performs debugging and troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve software issues.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deliver software solutions.
• Participates in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Utilizes approved
• Must be eligible for a DOD Security Clearance
• Experience to include software development/engineering, specification, design and development of software systems.
• Requires proficiency using programming languages such as C++, Java, C#, Product Lifecycle Management, graphics or other developmental software.
• Experience developing software in Windows and Linux environments preferred.
