Job summary

Epsilon C5I (www.epsilonsystems.com/c5i), focused on software development and systems engineering for complex command, control, intelligence and combat systems, is seeking a Senior RF Engineer I with a minimum of 7 years’ of RF Engineering experience for work in San Diego, CA. Our engineering efforts provide the warfighter with tools to provide critical support to operational missions.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years supporting RF systems.
• Experience with:
• RF receivers
• Antennas
• Spectrum analysis
• MATLAB and/or Python
• Signal characterization
• Understanding of communications, radar, EW, or SIGINT systems.
• Candidate must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.
• Pursuant to the various government contractual

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate RF signal collection architectures.
• Characterize RF propagation, interference, and spectrum environments.
• Support algorithm developers with RF performance data and sensor modeling.
• Perform RF system modeling and simulation.
• Develop test plans and support laboratory and field testing.
• Analyze collected RF data to validate algorithm performance.
• Coordinate with systems and software engineers on end-to-end implementation.
• Document technical findings and present results to government stakeholders.
