• Mission of the Role: Vis*** seeks an experienced Technical Manager/Senior Manager specializing in strategic program management.
• Program Execution and Monitoring: Own end to end complex program execution Audio/Cluster ECU development (from concept to SOP and beyond).
• Monitor progress, and track delivery milestones for all engineering swim lanes (e.g., HW, SW, Systems, Manufacturing, etc), to ensure timely delivery, cost optimization, & quality outcomes.
• Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and make data-driven improvements.
• Provide leadership to project teams promoting timely and effective decision-making.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities for Vis*** within customer programs and strategic initiatives.
• Effort Estimation & Negotiation: Prepare accurate engineering effort estimates and negotiate resource hours and scope with the customer to ensure alignment.
• Guide cross functional team in resolving complex issues, addressing launch challenges, and eliminating critical defects.
• Support VAVE(Value Analysis/Value Engineering) initiatives to optimize cost and enhance product competitiveness.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks to minimize impact on project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Manage scope changes by evaluating impacts on timelines, resources, and costs, implementing change control processes, and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
• Change Management: Managing program changes and scope creep by effectively evaluating and communicating the impacts of changes on timelines, resources, and costs.

Responsibilities

• In this role our Program Manager will be assigned to one of Vis***’s Automotive Customers and be responsible for leading Audio/IVI/CDC Programs from inception to successful delivery.
