Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on platform engineering experience with a strong focus on automation, tooling, and building distributed, scalable systems.
- 3+ on AWS and Kubernetes specifically EKS and Kubernetes: production workload management including RBAC and IRSA
- Expert-level GitLab CI/CD: including shell and Docker runner management, strong Bash scripting for deployment orchestration.
- GitLab preferred, GitHub Actions acceptable
- ArgoCD and GitOps: production experience managing workloads across environments
- Proficiency with Terraform as the primary Infrastructure as Code tool
- AWS fluency: Lambda, ALB, WAF, CloudFront, Cognito, Secrets Manager, Route53, KMS, ECR, VPC networking and public-facing application hosting
- Working knowledge of security baselines and compliance-oriented infrastructure design
- NICE TO HAVE
- Experience managing Apache Airflow implementation via MWAA
- Proficiency with Claude Code
- Okta or SSO integration for platform authentication
