Qualifications

• Experience in a hardware and software business with a complex supply chain is highly desired.</p>
• li>Advise on the VAT treatment of customer contracts, pricing structures, and invoicing arrangements, working directly with Sales and Legal as required.</li>
• li>Oversee indirect tax accounting, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and BlackLine certification.</li>
• li>Monitor VAT payments and refunds; liaise with local tax authorities where required.</li>

• p><strong>New Entity Set-Up</strong></p>
• li>Lead the indirect tax workstream for all new entity formations, covering VAT registration, system readiness, and the preparation of compliant workpaper frameworks prior to first filing.</li>
• li>Review and approve invoice templates for new entities before they commence trading.</li>
• li>Ensure SOX and internal control obligations are met across all indirect tax processes.</li>
• p><strong>Process and Systems</strong></p>
• li>Identify and implement improvements to VAT filing workflows, including the use of AI, macros, Alteryx, and D365 configuration.</li>
• li>Participate in or lead system testing for indirect tax-related ERP and reporting changes.</li>
