For one of our leading enterprise clients, we are looking for an experienced Senior Golang / Python Engineer to help build and evolve a centralized OpenTelemetry platform. This is not a traditional observability role focused on configuring monitoring tools.

Qualifications
- For one of our leading enterprise clients, we are looking for an experienced Senior Golang / Python Engineer to help build and evolve a centralized OpenTelemetry platform.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience
- Advanced proficiency in the English Language (at least B2 in speaking, writing, listening, and reading)
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong development experience with Go (Golang) or Python, with the ability to build production-grade backend applications.
- Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, including instrumentation, SDKs, collectors, or telemetry agents.
- Experience designing, developing, or extending OpenTelemetry SDKs, libraries, agents, or other reusable software components.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, observability principles, and telemetry (logs, metrics, and traces).
- Experience building scalable backend services, APIs, or platform components.
- Solid knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and clean coding principles.
- Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain OpenTelemetry SDKs, telemetry agents, and instrumentation libraries.
- Build reusable software components in Go (preferred) or Python.
- Develop robust solutions that collect and transport logs, metrics, and traces to a centralized observability platform.
- Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to standardize instrumentation across enterprise applications.
- Design scalable, maintainable, and well-tested software following modern software engineering principles.
- Contribute to platform architecture and technical design decisions.
- Improve developer experience by creating reusable frameworks and tooling.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Continuously improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of the observability platform.
