Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional DevOps, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering experience, with advanced knowledge of AWS (networking, compute, storage, and security)
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in at least one language for automation and tooling (Python, Go, Bash, or similar) and a track record designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex multi-system problems, and mentor other engineers
- Experience in high-growth e-commerce/ad-tech environments, observability tooling (OTel, New Relic, Prometheus, or similar), and infrastructure security/compliance/disaster recovery planning
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize the cloud infrastructure (AWS/Kubernetes/EKS) and CI/CD pipelines that power Pac*** and Prism across multiple product and engineering teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents of varying scope and complexity, using sound judgment to resolve issues that don't always have a documented playbook
- Drive infrastructure projects end-to-end — from planning and architecture through documentation — with only high-level check-ins along the way
- Partner with engineering and product teams to establish infrastructure standards, CI/CD best practices, and operational procedures that improve reliability and developer productivity
- Serve as a go-to resource for other teams on deployment strategy and infrastructure decisions when they need input
- Monitor system performance and security proactively — including secret hygiene, access controls, and observability — identifying risks early and preventing future issues
