- Preferred Key Experience:
- Experienced technical lead with a strong background in building and optimizing data pipelines, excellent SQL
- and Certifications:
- The Senior Data Platform Engineer would have at least 6+ years of relevant experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering, with senior or lead experience
- College degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- A college degree may be substituted by sufficient years of experience in the health care industry.
- Experience with a business area that is supported by this position is preferred (i.e., Provider Network and Contract Management, Digital Solutions, Pricing, Membership, Claims, etc.).
- Equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities
- You will design, build, optimize, and own scalable enterprise data pipelines and platform capabilities in Snowflake that power conventional and agentic analytics, purpose-built data products, and operational reporting.
- You will mentor engineers, drive technical standards, and contribute to platform strategy, positioning yourself for growth into Principal-level engineering and architecture roles or people leadership.

- Lead and mentor Data Engineers; drive engineering standards and best practices.
- Independently design, build, tune, and own scalable Snowflake ELT pipelines, data models (with Modeling team), and platform artifacts supporting analytics/operational workloads.
- Optimize performance (query tuning, compute sizing, workload isolation, cost management).
- Partner with analytics, product, governance, QA, and business teams to deliver high-quality, observable data solutions.
