Senior Data Engineers Employer Address: 888 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02199 Job Location: 888 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02199 Responsibilities: The Senior Data Engineer will design, build and manage data pipelines that power applications and drive business decisions. Job duties include the following: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from various sales and marketing systems such as Salesforce, Pardot and Adobe Analytics into the enterprise data warehouse. Conduct business and systems analysis, design, implementation and the testing of data solutions to meet and exceed the expectations of our business partners and regulators. Self-manage projects, participate in strategy and architecture reviews and help shape the direction of data management within the organization. Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency by implementing data validation and cleansing processes. Develop strong domain expertise and lead all aspects of the SLAs for those data pipelines Collaborate with various teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business partners, to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions. Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance, scalability, and consistency with recommended design patterns. Monitor and address data pipeline issues and collaborate with our support teams to ensure timely and accurate data delivery. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends in data engineering and financial services, following standard methodologies. Requirements & Qualifications: Employer requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field plus eight (8) years of progressively more responsible experience as a software engineer with a focus on data. In addition, the employer requires the following: Expertise to efficiently extract data from databases, CRM systems, and APIs to build maintainable and supportable ETL code using Informatica gained through eight (8) years of work experience; Ability to extract data from multiple data sources using Python gained through three (3) years of work experience; Expertise in SQL for ETL and data warehousing applications gained through eight (8) years of work experience; Proficiency with data warehousing and financial datasets gained through five (5) years of work experience; Ability to architect and design data pipeline and data warehouse solutions for the whole software development life cycle gained through five (5) years of work experience; and Ability to develop solutions on AWS or other public cloud services gained through five (5) years of work experience. In accordance with the Massachusetts Wage transparency act, the expected annual base salary for this Boston, MA, based position is $185,000 - $195,000. Actual annual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, and other job-related factors. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include other Nat*** sponsored benefit programs.
