Qualifications

  • defining data governance processes, improving data discoverability, ensuring compliance, and enabling data-driven decision-making through a robust data management framework.
  • YOUR ROLE :
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data owners, data stewards, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business
  • Conduct workshops and requirement-gathering sessions for Data Governance, Unity Catalog, and Data Catalog initiatives.
  • Translate business
  • into functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the implementation, enhancement, and adoption of Databricks Unity Catalog and enterprise Data Catalog solutions.
  • Define and maintain metadata standards, data classifications, taxonomy, and data lineage
  • Ensure effective cataloging, governance, and discoverability of enterprise data assets.
  • Partner with data engineering and platform teams to onboard and manage data assets within the catalog.
  • Assist in establishing and improving enterprise data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
