Senior Application Software Engineer - AI Agents

Job summary

Building off our Cloud momentum, Ora*** has formed a new organization - Ora*** Health & Analytics. This team focuses on product development and product strategy for Ora*** Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment.

Qualifications

• At Ora*** Health, our mission is to improve healthcare and quality of life globally through better experience and easier access to health and research data for patients and healthcare providers.
• We are looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in all areas of software engineering: distributed systems, identity, security, observability, and user experience.
• We are looking for engineers with experience in building control plane components for public cloud services.
• You have experience with the design of major features and launching them into production.
• You are able to go from high level system design, writing architectural documentation and driving engineering peer reviews to hands-on prototyping, code reviews and project bootstrapping.
• You are technically strong and get a lot done.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field or experience (MS preferred)
• 4+ years distributed service engineering experience in a software development environment
• Development experience in a modern programming languages, such as Java, Python and C++, etc.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development, specifically within a cloud environment
• Experience working closely with architects, principals, product and program managers to deliver product features on time and with high quality

• In this role, you will enable development teams by driving design of major service components, working with engineering managers and TPMs, and providing direct guidance to more junior team members.
