Job summary
ABOUT THE ROLE You will be an essential member of the team delivering the SAMBa (Statistical Applied Mathematics at Bath) Centre for Doctoral Training. SAMBa is a well-established research and training centre supporting approximately 150 PhD researchers and graduates.

Qualifications

- ABOUT YOU

- You will be interested in mathematical sciences research and supporting people (particularly at postgraduate level) to deliver it.
- You will be committed and entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a team consisting of academics and professional services staff.
- Your skill set means that you will be comfortable working with a large portfolio of information, and diverse stakeholders and collating data to meet the reporting
- from our funders.
- Previous experience will enable you to work effectively with collaborators outside of the University, and teams within the institution to enable delivery of collaborative research, including co-funded PhD agreements.
- You will be an excellent communicator who is able to think strategically, solve problems effectively, and manage your own time and workload.
- FURTHER INFORMATION
- The position can be held at between 0.5 and 0.6 FTE and we are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements although we do expect the post-holder to be present on campus at least 2 days per week.
- This role is offered on a fixed term basis for a duration of 30 months.
