Qualifications

- EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with 8+ years of relevant software development experience OR
- Master's degree in a related technical field with 6+ years of relevant software development experience OR
- PhD in a related technical field with 3+ years of relevant software development experience

- Contribute to Agile ceremonies — planning, retrospectives, and end-of-iteration demos — and help identify and resolve team impediments
- Write and maintain technical documentation covering design, logic, testing, and issue resolution
- MINIMUM
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience in an IBM z/OS mainframe environment
- Mastery of REXX scripting — this is a core skill for this role, not optional
Responsibilities
- This is a senior individual-contributor role with a clear expectation of technical leadership - you will drive design decisions, mentor junior engineers, and serve as an escalation point for hard problems.
