PROTEIN SCIENTIST (ONSITE IN WILSONVILLE, OR) TWI*** is expanding our protein capabilities to support a growing portfolio of products. We're looking for a Protein Scientist with strong technical skills, hands-on experience in protein characterization techniques, as well as a passion for troubleshooting sample problems that arise in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and analyze affinity and kinetics measurements of antibodies produced in our high-throughput production facility
• Implement and troubleshoot workflows for biophysical and functional characterization of IgG and VHH, including analytical SEC, DLS, DSF, HIC, and additional downstream assays as needed.
• Serve as technical lead for protein characterization and help train and assist manufacturing assistants with execution of assays
• Author technical documents, protocols, training guides, and validation reports to ensure smooth process implementation and knowledge transfer.
• Analyze complex experimental datasets and contribute to data-driven troubleshooting and continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate in cross-functional project teams representing protein characterization in core team meetings and contributing to strategic decisions.
• Document work in electronic lab notebooks and communicate results to stakeholders clearly and regularly.
