Qualifications

- Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or in a Principal Software Engineer-related occupation.
- Position requires demonstrable experience in the following:
- Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL.
- Troubleshoot complex IT issues for new products including modeling refresh launched to handle online and batch specific transactions.
- Lead design reviews, produce clear architectural artifacts, and articulate technical trade offs to both technical and non technical audiences.
- Provide mentorship, support, and guidance to junior engineers through 1-1s and pair programming.
