Qualifications

  • We are seeking an experienced Palantir Foundry Lead to own the design, delivery, and governance of our Foundry platform implementation.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and data science teams to translate
  • into scalable Foundry solutions (Workshop apps, Quiver dashboards, Slate/Contour reporting).
  • Lead and mentor a team of Foundry developers/data engineers, providing technical guidance, code review, and career development.
  • Own platform performance, cost optimization, and technical debt reduction across pipelines and datasets.
  • Manage relationships with Palantir's delivery/customer success teams, including participation in roadmap discussions and escalation management.
  • Drive best practices for CI/CD, version control, and testing within the Foundry environment (e.g., using Foundry's Code Repositories, checks, and branching strategies).
  • Support integration of Foundry with upstream/downstream systems (cloud data warehouses, APIs, enterprise applications).
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and training materials for platform users.
  • Stay current on new Foundry capabilities (AIP, Ontology SDK, Foundry ML, etc.) and evaluate applicability to business use cases.
  • Required
  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise data architecture roles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of data pipelines, ontologies, and applications within Palantir Foundry.
  • Serve as the primary technical owner for Foundry architecture decisions, including data modeling, code/data workbooks, transforms (PySpark/SQL), and ontology object/action design.
  • Manage the full data lifecycle in Foundry: ingestion, transformation, quality validation, lineage tracking, and publishing to downstream consumers.
  • Establish and enforce platform governance standards — access controls, data classification, markings/policies, and compliance with internal security and regulatory
