Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
  • Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
  • They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
  • Posted Salary Range: USD $28.00 - USD $33.00 /Hr.

  • As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well.
  • You are the person who can bring their power back.
  • In doing this, you will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
  • You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.
  • You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual.
  • You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.
  • You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.
  • You're a teammate and are looking for collaboration with your peers, but you're also happy to make referrals to help your patient get the care they need to thrive.
  • You know that being an Occupational Therapy Assistant means putting patients first; ensuring patients and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
