Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience leading, hiring, retaining, and developing high-performing, geographically distributed software engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, building, and operating highly available cloud-native applications, distributed systems, APIs, integrations, and platform services using modern
  • and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Responsibilities

  • Leads, hires, develops, and coaches software engineers through performance management, mentorship, and career development.
  • Develops and executes the team's engineering roadmap, balancing business priorities, delivery, platform reliability, technical debt, and operational excellence.
  • Guides architectural direction and technical decision-making for shared services, and platform capabilities while empowering engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Partners closely with Product, Infrastructure, Security, and other Engineering teams to deliver reliable platform capabilities and shared services.
  • Collaborates with engineering leadership and cross-functional partners to define long-term platform strategy, roadmap direction, and technical priorities.
  • Uses business context and engineering judgment to guide technical decisions involving APIs, integrations, shared services, cloud platforms, and modern application architecture.
