Qualifications
- This is a role for an experienced manager energized by cross-team execution in a fast-moving, competitive market.
- You’re a fit for the role of Software Engineering Manager if you have the following
- Required
- 2+ years of direct people-management experience for software engineers, including hiring, performance management, and career development — this is not a first-time management role.
- A track record of delivering complex initiatives that spanned multiple teams — for example a replatform, migration, or deep platform integration — where much of the critical path sat outside your own team.
- Demonstrated delivery management under fixed external deadlines: scope negotiation, incremental delivery, feature-flag strategies, and clear risk communication to leadership.
- Comfort operating amid organizational and product ambiguity — you stay effective, and keep a team motivated, while ownership boundaries and scope are still being settled.
- Experience leading distributed teams that blend full-time engineers and contractors across time zones.
- Additional preferred

- Experience building LLM-powered or agentic products, or platforms that other teams build on.
- Background in document-intensive or regulated enterprise software (legal, tax, compliance, financial services).
