Learning Systems Administrator

Job summary

The Learning Systems Administrator supports the administration and development of the Learning Management System and related teaching technologies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in instructional technology or related field preferred
• Experience with educational technology in an academic setting preferred
• Experience with Moodle or another enterprise Learning Management System preferred
• Experience with tools like Microsoft Teams, VoiceThread, Panopto, Turnitin, ProctorU preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration and support of the learning management system
• Manage routine LMS operations, including course creation and user access
• Provide direct support to faculty and students with LMS issues
• Work with LMS support providers for technical concerns and updates
• Assist with LMS integrations and reporting
• Create and maintain LMS documentation and help guides
• Respond to help-desk tickets related to LMS and teaching technologies
• Support faculty and students in using teaching technologies
• Conduct workshops and training sessions as needed
• Collaborate with departments as an instructional technology consultant
• Participate in ongoing assessment processes
• Participate in assigned committees
• Perform other duties as assigned
