Lead Software Engineer

Job summary

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer– PRIIP Cloud to lead the technical design, development, operation, and evolution of our strategic cloud-based PRIIP documentation and reporting platform.

• Required Experience
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with significant full-stack development experience.

Responsibilities

• You will work closely with Product, Operations, Compliance, and Architecture teams to ensure the platform remains secure, scalable, resilient, and compliant within a highly regulated financial services environment.
• You will lead a multidisciplinary team comprising software engineers and subject matter experts.
• Technical Leadership
• Own the technical architecture and end-to-end delivery of the PRIIP Cloud platform.
• Define and maintain architectural standards, design patterns, engineering principles, and platform roadmaps.
• Lead technical decision-making across frontend applications, backend services, APIs, integrations, data models, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, observable, and maintainable.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering practices, software quality, and developer productivity.
• Full Stack Engineering
• Contribute hands-on across all layers of the platform including frontend, backend services, APIs, integrations, databases, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Design and build user-facing capabilities, platform services, and operational tooling.
• Lead development of reusable components, shared services, and common platform capabilities.
