Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in life-science or related field preferred
- 1 year of experience working in a laboratory environment
- Knowledge,
Responsibilities
- include procuring, receiving, and organizing reagents and materials, as well as maintaining an accurate inventory of laboratory consumables.
- This position also involves fulfilling diverse requests from research personnel related to lab procedures and proactively addressing potential laboratory needs.
- PRIMARY
- Facilitate a clean, neat, and organized laboratory through routine lab clean-up events
- Manage laboratory consumable and reagent inventory
- Prepare, aliquot, and stock reagents as needed.
- Placing R&D orders, receiving, and delivering/storing items
- Ensure strict adherence to environmental, health and safety (EHS) and good laboratory practices (GLP) guidelines
- Monitor satellite waste streams, including biohazardous and hazardous chemical waste, and dispose of them according to EHS guidelines
- Conduct routine lab safety inspections
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager
