Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in life-science or related field preferred
  • 1 year of experience working in a laboratory environment

Responsibilities

  • include procuring, receiving, and organizing reagents and materials, as well as maintaining an accurate inventory of laboratory consumables.
  • This position also involves fulfilling diverse requests from research personnel related to lab procedures and proactively addressing potential laboratory needs.
  • PRIMARY
  • Facilitate a clean, neat, and organized laboratory through routine lab clean-up events
  • Manage laboratory consumable and reagent inventory
  • Prepare, aliquot, and stock reagents as needed.
  • Placing R&D orders, receiving, and delivering/storing items
  • Ensure strict adherence to environmental, health and safety (EHS) and good laboratory practices (GLP) guidelines
  • Monitor satellite waste streams, including biohazardous and hazardous chemical waste, and dispose of them according to EHS guidelines
  • Conduct routine lab safety inspections
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager
